The software industry is experiencing a real transformation thanks to AI. For the hospitality industry in particular, this transformation is reshaping everything from how travelers discover and book hotels to how hoteliers manage pricing, distribution and guest relationships.
For technology providers like SiteMinder, the global leader AI-powered customer acquisition and revenue management platformAI is an opportunity for future growth, not a threat.
Recognized as Hotelier’s Choice for four consecutive years at the HotelTechAwards, with more than 53,000 real estate customers in over 150 countries and an ecosystem totaling more than 2,350 integrations and partnerships, SiteMinder is empowered by AI rather than disrupted by it.
SiteMinder’s Best Channel Manager is Essential for Distribution in the AI-Driven Landscape
While AI simplifies many things, it has the potential to further fragment a hotel distribution landscape where almost no two hotel technology stacks are alike.
Today, hotels distribute their inventory through OTAs, metasearch engines, GDSs, wholesalers and their own direct channels. This equation now expands further to include AI-powered travel planners, agent booking systems, and personalized discovery tools, all of which require access to accurate, real-time pricing and availability data.
In an AI-driven environment, price adjustments become more frequent, inventory allocation becomes more dynamic, and channels can be activated and deactivated more proactively, with optimized content delivered to them quickly.
This is exactly where SiteMinder shows its value. No matter what PMS, RMS or booking engine a hotel uses, SiteMinder channel manager provides a single point of control across the entire distribution ecosystem:
- Unparalleled connectivity to over 490 booking channels
- More than 100 billion communications between hoteliers and distribution channels managed each year
- Automatic, real-time pricing and availability updates
- Seamless two-way integrations with 470+ property management systems, giving hotels access to best-in-class distribution and AI capabilities, regardless of their existing technology stack.
- Powerful AI-driven performance insights
Hotel rooms are limited. A single mistake in inventory synchronization can lead to costly overbookings, rate parity violations, and lost revenue. SiteMinder reduces risk better than anyone in the industry.
SiteMinder offers better value for money than an AI-based solution
While AI has the potential to give hoteliers a way to create their own technology solutions, is it really worth spending the time and effort on something that is not yet proven?
Especially considering that SiteMinder has 20 years of proprietary data and connections already built in, creating a unified platform and AI engine that facilitates:
- More than 135 million reservations per year
- More than 300 million nights per year
- More than $60 billion in revenue
- An unprecedented figure of around 4 billion data points
- Facilitate over 100 billion network communications per year
This type of infrastructure cannot be easily replicated by creating an AI coding tool and generating a prototype.
Additionally, the value SiteMinder brings to the industry is enormous, while the costs to each hotelier are almost immaterial:
- For every $100 in bookings a hotel generates through the platform, SiteMinder costs on average about 15 cents.
Another, equally crucial consideration is SiteMinder’s support structure. Hotels operate in real time, which means they need constant support. SiteMinder’s global support feature is available 24/7, backed by deep experience, industry expertise and hundreds of business partnerships to promote knowledge sharing. An AI-coded tool simply cannot offer the same level of support or resolution.
SiteMinder is deeply rooted in how hotels generate revenue
SiteMinder has been so successful throughout its 20 years of activity that it has become an essential service for its hotel clients.
Consistently provide:
- Reservations
- Income
- Efficiency
- Analysis
- Scalability
The AI capabilities only serve to give SiteMinder the ability to provide hoteliers with better and easier ways to control and optimize their business.
This makes SiteMinder almost impossible to replace with other AI solutions. It’s not just about connections, integrations, interfaces and use cases. It also involves in-depth knowledge of how hotels operate and the needs they must meet, while maintaining critical partnerships, security standards and compliance requirements.
This data advantage is particularly important. SiteMinder aggregates reservation-level data across more than 470 PMS systems and more than 490 distribution channels, representing more than 300 million room nights per year. This data set covers source market demand, destination pace, channel mix and booking behavior on a global scale, powering the kind of market-relative revenue insights that no single hotel system or channel can provide on its own.
SiteMinder’s intelligence engine, SiteMinder iQis fundamentally different.
Powered by nearly 4 billion data points, SiteMinder iQ provides proprietary insights and third-party data specific to a hotel’s property, market position and performance.
SiteMinder will be needed to “transport” hoteliers to an AI-powered future
SiteMinder’s role in an AI-driven world has expanded to become the gateway through which hotels access AI-driven distribution. Not only does SiteMinder connect hotels to AI Distribution engines, but provides the tools needed to improve their visibility in an AI-driven landscape.
Two features open up this new direction, serving different components of the AI reservation landscape.
More Channels is SiteMinder’s multi-channel distribution solution, allowing hoteliers to access a wide range of distribution channels through a single connection. As part of SiteMinder’s expansion into the AI era, Channels Plus is also extending hotel inventory to AI-enabled OTAs and booking agent platforms. The reservation goes through SiteMinder to the property, but the guest never has to leave the partner’s platform.
Request More already connects hotels to metasearch engines like Google, Trivago and Tripadvisor, offering automated and self-managed services. It now also provides a direct booking pathway into AI environments such as ChatGPT – powered by Model Context Protocol (MCP). In this model, LLMs’ AI agents present live hotel recommendations and rates to travelers, then feed them back to the hotel’s direct booking channel to complete the reservation. DirectBooker has been named SiteMinder’s first AI demand partner for this pathway.
Dynamic Income Plus builds on this foundation, equipping hoteliers with the full power of SiteMinder iQ. Because SiteMinder already acts as the distribution layer between a hotel’s PMS and its booking channels, SiteMinder iQ bridges the gap between knowledge and action. It delivers:
- Dynamic price recommendations powered by IDeaS that can be transmitted instantly to over 490 channels or the hotel PMS.
- Forecast demand up to 90 days in advance so hotels know exactly whether they are ahead, behind or in sync with their market.
- Continuous market analysis that dynamically refines competitor sets based on property attributes.
- Plain-language summaries of key performance and actions appear automatically upon login.
Soon, SiteMinder iQ will also allow hoteliers to interact with their data conversationally to ask questions, generate reports and get recommendations in plain language.
SiteMinder is already a digitally native, AI-driven company
SiteMinder doesn’t just integrate AI into existing workflows, but adopts it from the bottom up across the entire platform.
Transaction revenue grew 38.2% year-on-year in the first half of FY26, outpacing global travel growth by around 30 percentage points. This is driven by AI-powered intelligence, optimization, and automation capabilities. Gross transaction margins increased by 558 basis points during the same period, reflecting the effectiveness of AI-enabled products.
The company is also aware that while AI means speed, speed without discipline creates risks. Without simultaneously maintaining a focus on quality, safety, and strategic alignment, the results of AI will be limited at best and detrimental at worst.
That’s why SiteMinder is dedicated to evaluating the evolution of AI tools, determining what works and what doesn’t for its teams, deploying best practices across the company, and continually improving how the tools are used.
If SiteMinder finds a way to do something even 10% better, those learnings and processes can be replicated in other parts of the business, creating company-wide improvements that trickle down to the results SiteMinder’s customers experience.
SiteMinder delivers solid, tangible results to hoteliers around the world
Across its global customer base, the impact of the SiteMinder platform is visible in actual business results:
- Metro Hotels, an iconic Australian brand celebrating 50 years in business, generated $1.6 million in additional revenue with the support of SiteMinder.
- BTH Hotels in Lima, Peru transformed its customer acquisition strategy and increased revenue by 56%.
- Cetina hotels in Spain achieved RevPAR growth of 5% while saving three hours per day per hotel, thanks to operational efficiencies.
- Kindness Hotel in Taiwan, which operates 18 properties, saw 100% growth in online bookings.
These results are achieved through reliable execution, real-time synchronization, and an ecosystem that only increases in value as the distribution landscape becomes more complex.
Although the AI transformation in the hospitality sector is still in its infancy, things are changing quickly. But the companies that will define the next era are those that combine deep industry expertise, trusted global infrastructure, large-scale proprietary data, and a culture of constructive AI adoption.
SiteMinder’s Revenue Control Center is the only platform that unifies business intelligence, integrated distribution, and revenue management into a single, seamless experience.
PakarPBN
A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
