Your Sirvoy account is much more than just access to a hotel management system (a very good system too, but we could be biased). It is also an investment in a constantly evolving platform to better serve you. A key part of this improvement is the design you interact with every day and it’s our design team that brings it to life.

They’re not just about aesthetics: they shape the feel of Sirvoy, making every click as smooth and useful as possible. Let’s take a closer look.

“In the design industry, there’s a simple rule: if you can’t see it, it doesn’t exist. My responsibility is to ensure that our user experience becomes increasingly intuitive and seamless to view and interact with.

Edvard Oganesian, Design System Product Owner and Head of UI/UX Design

Making Sirvoy even smarter

It would be impossible to list everything the design team has worked on: they contribute to every new feature. But here are some noteworthy updates of their own:

Quick tips that make navigation simple

Tooltips have become a key element in making Sirvoy more intuitive. These subtle, well-placed tips deliver the right information at the right time, helping you navigate features without unnecessary clutter. Simply hover over (or tap on your mobile) important icons and question marks to see the information they contain.

These tips are deployed throughout Sirvoy, ensuring that all the details you need are accessible while keeping pages clean and distraction-free.

A mobile view tailored to hospitality workflows

For those who manage Sirvoy on the go, the improved version mobile view ensures that Sirvoy is as easy to use on your phone as it is on your desktop. The main navigation menu is now attached to the bottom of mobile browsers, keeping key controls within easy reach. Designed to maximize screen space, the header and navigation menu subtly hide when not needed.

Smarter tools for setting restrictions

Managing restrictions used to require a lot of clicking, but now you can select multiple room types at once and apply restrictions in one step instead of needing an individual restriction for each room type. It’s a smarter, faster way to manage seasonal rules, events, or whatever comes your way.

This is just the beginning for multiple selection tools in Sirvoy, you’ll soon see them appear in more places, making everyday tasks even smoother.

Feature Guides: Stay informed

We also introduced Feature Guides-Quick, timely pop-ups designed to keep you up to date with the latest tools. They’re easy to bypass if you’re in a hurry, but great for learning about features that can make your workday smoother.

“Our top priority is always our users. We have moved towards creating a more dynamic application. Now Sirvoy actively notifies users about new features and updates of the app, and we are always happy to receive feedback and suggestions.

Edvard Oganesian, Design System Product Owner and Head of UI/UX Design

What’s next

The design team won’t be slowing down anytime soon. They are working on exciting updates that will make Sirvoy sleeker, smarter, and easier to use.

We can’t reveal all the details yet, but stay tuned: the best is yet to come.

Laying the foundation for more

All of these updates, as well as every feature created by the design team, are linked by the ever-increasing development of Sirvoy design languagean internal system that keeps features consistent, easy to add, and scalable.

But what does this mean for you?

  • Consistency: Buttons, menus and layouts behave the same in Sirvoy, making learning intuitive for your team, reducing training time.
  • Faster updates: By reusing proven design elements, we can develop new features faster without sacrificing quality.

The Sirvoy design language isn’t just a tool for us: it’s a promise that Sirvoy will remain user-friendly, no matter how it evolves.
